Podiatry Training Course

Training in Kinepody- Podokinesy is for podiatrists or orthopedists-orthotists who wish to develop a Kinepod center. To achieve our training and access to the distribution of our rehabilitation tools, we require a contractual commitment to meet the Kinepod quality charter. If you want to know our conditions, please contact us. We offer a range of insoles made up by 3D CADCAM. Our material corrector, the carbonésate (treated by heat injection) is at the forefront of medical technology. We adapt it according to the weight, deformation and patient activity.

Our centers are defined by demographic areas. Before anything else, we need to ensure that you are in a free zone.
What the podokinesy-kinepody?

Podokinesy-kinepody can help you diagnose foot problems that could result in dynamic postural problems and correct them with soles made up by Kinepod laboratory

What the Podokinesy-kinepody?  Podokinesy-Kinepody is an orthopedic therapy that allows the injured foot to regain its natural functionality. This therapy is based on respect for the foot movement during its locomotion. With respect to the dynamic foot, the whole body has greater freedom mouvement. Podokinesy-Kinepody allows checking the mobility of the feet to ensure that the foundations of the body are not the disruptive causes of the dynamic postural system. If the base of the human body movement is reduced in its range of motion, it is quite logical to find offsets and hypo mobility (lack of movement) at the upper level of the foot (knee, hip, vertebra, ..). In the opposite direction, the kinepody will go until to find the disruptive in the case of a descending chain (eye, ATM, ..), and gets treated if necessary. What is the point of correcting the foot if its position is a necessary adaptation to an overlying problem! Actually Podokinesy-Kinepody main objective is to find and correct the mechanical causes which disrupt the body homeostasis (body balance). The podokinesist-Kinepodist is able to make the connection between the feet and the rest of the body. It is not enough to correct a foot if it eventually results in pain on the upper floors (knees, hips, back …).

Finally, an orthopedic therapy research mechanical causes!
What can provide the Podokinesy?
• First, to know the disturbing causes of plantar origin by searching for:
– Postural imbalances.
– Dysfunction during walking and / or running
• Then find the podal disruptive in the case of a descending chain (eye, ATM, ..)
• To notify a finally kinepodic treatment to:
– Correct the muscles dysfunctions, joints and proprioceptive dysfunction of the foot, eye, ATM and entire body.
– Improve balance disorders, posture and walking.

Trainer: Christophe OTTE, podiatrist, physiotherapist, osteopath

The training aims to answer the following questions:

Our feet, foundations misused?

Can we suffer injuries in rising channels? How to check? What are the disruptive elements: a disorder of the joint static and / or disorder of muscle function in dynamic and / or proprioceptive impairment?

Wearing foot orthotics, for or against?

When is this useful? Passive or active? And when it can be a necessity? In everyday life and / or sporting activity? Preventive effect of foot orthotics or intox?

Adding reinforcements or straps, what is it?

Is it possible to strengthen muscles by adding these options? Or improve proprioception? When is it a necessity? And when should you absolutely avoid?

The shoe, a good or bad?

What criteria to be met? The current shoes are they going well in the direction of research on the physiology of the foot? Were they really a preventive role? Short term and long term? In daily life or during sport activity? The shoe can it be a therapeutic and / or disruptive element?

Walking and running barefoot, is useful as a folly?

In which case to advocate or proscribe it? What land and what type of foot are discouraged? And what are the limits? Is the difference in performance between black and white South North is by walking barefoot?

How to prevent sports injuries?

Why our patients stiffen more? Muscle proprioception is it deficient? Is this the result of a real physical inactivity? Is this also true for the top athlete? How to react in relation to stretching?

Posture or dynamic?

Posture corrected suffices it to improve the dynamic?

Or is it rather the dynamic correction which governs the correct posture? Or is it two elements separately correct?

Childhood and Development ascending chain?

Are the wounds of the adult are not the consequences of bad habits induced by our society? Is wearing shoes well suited? Should we support the feet of our children from an early age?

Childhood and Development descending chain?

Is that the modern diet the cause of orthodontic problems? Is it a good thing to deal with passive orthodontics? At what age appropriate treatment can be started? is good maxillofacial muscle a necessity? Physiotherapy can it have a preventive role?

The elderly and limitations of treatment?

Passive orthopedic treatment, active or comfort? Is it a question of age? How to improve their balance and walking? The shoes of the third age are they really studied according to their physiology? How to avoid ankylosis postural? The partial or total absence of teeth can it causes postural changes?

A TMJ disorder oculomotor imbalance and can they cause damage to down?

How to check and correct it? Can migraines and chronic neck pain be the consequences of TMJ and / or oculomotor disorder? Can we act in a preventive role?

What is an operation carried out by a physiotherapist, osteopath?

What are the differences? What are the dangers? How do they act on deep wounds? Can the correction of tissue motion bring a more lasting effect over time? Can the body proprioception in motion be improved? Does it make sense to work for a dynamic or static supine lesion? What orthokinesy (manipulation in action) can bring in addition to podiatric treatment? How and when to work with professionals handling? When and why send our patients to other health professionals? Can the analysis of the human body in motion bring us lot more? What does it analyze? How to tell the difference with the trade that launches this fad? Is a movement and / or joint position should be analyzed? What analytical tools are relevant?

Is collaboration between health care professionals possible?

How to work within the limits of professional skills? When and why send our patients to other health professionals?

Training provided only takes place if the number of participants is quite important.
